I care about building mathematical communities in which students can find support, take intellectual risks, and contribute to the culture around them. I’ve been involved with a lot of activities, and I list some references here.

Georgia Tech

  • College of Sciences Graduate Student Committee, 2024–present: With C-PIES, I help select speakers for the Making Science Accessible seminar series for interdisciplinary presentations across the College of Science. We also host a yearly Bowling and Poster Competition in the spring!
  • Graduate Peer Mentor Coordinator, 2023–2026. While I no longer run the Peer Mentor Program at Georgia Tech, I am in contact with the current organizers. If you are an incoming math graduate student at any university, I encourage you to reach out and see if there is a similar program in place.
  • High School Math Day. I help write problems, proctor exams, and organize fun events for High School Math Day here at Georgia Tech. The last one took place on Saturday, March 7th, 2026. We expect registration to open in November 2026 and close in January 2027.
  • Emory Math Circle, 2022–2024. I was an instructor at Emory Math Circle while they were accepting online Georgia Tech instructors. Here are some online math circle materials I made.
  • Struggling with School. If you find yourself struggling, know that there is always help and support to be found. If you a are a Georgia Tech student, you can find mental health care here, tutoring and academic support here, and financial aid resources here. I encourage everyone to discuss their struggles with their advisors and peers. You are not going through this alone.
